Tagged!

Heard of being tagged? My love tagged me:) So let’s get down to the tagging business:The rules of the game:1. Players start with 8 random facts about themselves.2. Those who are tagged should post these rules and their 8 random facts.3. Players should tag 8 other people and notify them they have been tagged. Here goes in random order: 1. I am carelessly bold. 2. I’m a walking, talking chatter box, if you ask me to stop talking in the middle of a conversation, I may die like a fish out of water but at the same time there are times I enjoy being quiet and all by myself in silence! Weird though I like myself. :) 3. Hate comparisons to the core, I believe in Uniqueness. 4. Naturalist, Zoologist, Biogeochemist and always a Soprano! 5. Lovingly responsible, innovation is my first name, procrastination is my middle name and dedication is my last name. 6. Something is wrong with my face I guess :( … as most people don’t like me at the first instance! It’s advantageous for me as those who don’t
Namesakes…. “ If this vehicle is found driving rashly or over speeding contact @#$*&^?><~! some no.. .” This we would have seen invariably behind all the cabs which ply in the city on behalf of all the IT and BPO companies. Last when I met my aunt on a social visit she was telling that one of these cabs was over speeding and almost ran over her (it is a regular feature in all localities) so she decided to call these nos and gave the vehicle no., the area and the time and the date. Know what was the reply given to her? “We will inform the driver concerned!?” as if he doesn’t know he is over speeding.. and what measures they are taking? God only knows! “ This Building is Rainwater Harvested ” this again is sign seen on most building after the famous rule of our Ex CM. but the rule or law does not stop after issuing it rather is complete only when executed to the dot, otherwise it was better never passed. For when it passed many implemented it including my flat. But many place t

Is our relationship with people or things?

The other day I was going to office by bus since it was crowded I had to give my lunch bag to a lady who was sitting and when the bus arrived to the university stop, I got down and scurried to office as I was late. Half way through, due to intense walking I felt thirsty and BANG came the reality on my face, I had left my bag with the lady in the bus! Thanks to my reflexes, I turned around and spotted an auto rickshaw and jumped in and was telling the auto driver to follow the bus. The panicked driver (who was on his mobile talking to someone) fumbled and said he does not know the bus route, and I was more than intimidating now and said: just follow my direction was my reply, no order! I was following a bus, which had left the bus stop five minutes ago…. And the auto was zooming at great speed, (while frantic thoughts were racing in my mind… im going to be further late to office….my new lunch box and bag and water bottle was gone …. Will I be able to catch the bus…even if so, will the b

Loving Dad

This is not a post for killing time or to make a point or to vent out my feelings, on the converse to praise God for what he is to me. He is my loving dad. The following below is actually an email (which i came across while i was deleting the unwanted mails from my sent folder)that I wrote to one of my friends (edited for the post) narrating to her all the experiences I went thro… before my parents consented to get married to my beloved. As my parent’ only problem was we were both in the same choir! And the truth was we were never in terms was most part of the last decade… only recently we decided to get married. But our parents were against it, coz everyone would say probably they were going around for so long. The email starts here… God stands beside every decision (when you call on him) as he allows Free will... When you are serious He too is serious... the lesson I learnt and the long wait is worth it believe me.... Its awesome at the end of the tunnel coz we went thro it ... it wa

The day i got married....

Now the story of my wedding day starts (in chronological order...) Jan 22, 2007: the day which i've been dreaming of, for so long had arrived it was such a busy day! I was lazing around (basically uploading the engagement snaps that happened the previous night and checking last minute emails?!) till 12: 30 and went late to the beauty parlour! when i went there the chief of all the ladies there who suppose to dress me up was streaking someone else's hair! and when i arrived she said plz wait and i was so pissed and started yelling at her as i have booked that timing with her... (and the reason she gave was 'you didnt come so i started with her') and to my shock my mom in law was sitting there quietly with her sister in the corner while i was fuming at the staff! (she had come to do her hair do...) and my sister was literally holding my hand so tight and was telling cool down and dont spoil day and while i had a hair wash with straight control shampoo?! i didnt understand

Suprise!!!

This month i got my salary and slightly less amount as i had taken more casual leaves than permitted so they had deducted it from my salary... to top it i had to pay my fees for this semester and all my money i used up to pay my fees, and had very little money for my personal expense... but i was feeling bad bcoz i had little money and i couldnt help my parents with all the wedding expenses (my little part) and also bcoz of my inability for loan (im not eligible for loan as im on contract basis) but yday while i was busy doing some analysis all the staff were called for and guess what we were given a BONUS!!! since we had finished a project recently the consultancy guy was paying us for it a bonus which is worth 60% of my salary... can you beleive it, i cant! not bcoz im having some more money to spend or this is going to help my parents very much but the way in which He works ... absolutely suprising! i didnt even pray for some money...but knew deep down that he will not leave me in w
